Wyndham Robert Clark is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He has won two major championships, the 2023 and 2026 U.S. Opens.

๐Ÿ† Early Life and Amateur Career

Clark was born in Denver, Colorado, on December 9, 1993. At age three, he was introduced to golf by his mother. He attended Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

In 2010, Clark won the Colorado Stroke Play Championship. He twice won the Colorado Class 4A State Championship in high school. He received a scholarship to play collegiate golf for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

During his freshman season at OSU, Clark was informed that his mother had been diagnosed with cancer. As a redshirt freshman, he was named the 2014 Big 12 Player of the Year. He transferred as a redshirt senior to the University of Oregon.

Clark won his first individual collegiate title in January 2017. He graduated with a business degree in 2017. He turned professional in 2017 and earned PGA Tour membership in 2018 through the Web.com Tour.

In May 2023, Clark recorded his first PGA Tour victory at the Wells Fargo Championship. He won his first major championship at the 2023 U.S. Open held at Los Angeles Country Club. Clark added his second major at the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

At the 2026 U.S. Open, Clark became the first wire-to-wire winner of the U.S. Open since Martin Kaymer in 2014. He claimed his fourth PGA Tour title in May 2026 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
