Cocktail 2 is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Homi Adajania, co-written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under Maddock Films and Luv Films. It is a spiritual sequel to Cocktail (2012) and stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Principal photography commenced in August 2025 and concluded in January 2026. The film was shot in Sicily, Delhi, and Gurugram.

Kunal is a charming chef living with his architect girlfriend Diya, his college sweetheart. To escape relatives asking about marriage, they vacation in Sicily, Italy. There they meet Diyaโ€™s university friend Ally, a carefree dance instructor, who becomes their guide.

Diya, unsure if Kunal truly wants marriage, asks Ally to flirt with him to test his commitment. Ally warns Diya this could destroy their relationship but eventually agrees. Diya arranges for Ally and Kunal to spend time alone together.

During a road trip, Ally starts falling for Kunal, and they share romantic moments. Kunal admits his relationship with Diya has become comfortable and less fun. Ally leads him to the bedroom, but the next morning Kunal tells her to forget what happened.

Diya proposes to Kunal, and he accepts. Ally realizes she has fallen in love with him. Months later, Ally arrives in India for their wedding and grows increasingly close to Kunal, which Diya notices.

Ally confesses her love to Kunal and challenges Diya to win him before the wedding. Ally drives a wedge between the couple, causing them to grow distant during wedding festivities. Diya tells Kunal he does not have to marry her out of responsibility.

Allyโ€™s parents unexpectedly arrive, and in an argument Ally reveals she flirted with Kunal at Diyaโ€™s request. Kunal storms off but later tells both women he still loves Diya and chooses her. Ally accepts his decision, and Kunal and Diya get married.

Principal photography commenced in August 2025 and concluded in January 2026. Filming took place in Sicily, Italy, in October 2025, followed by a schedule in Delhi in November 2025, with primary locations including Chhatarpur and Gurgaon. On 31 January 2026, the filming was completed.

The soundtrack is composed by Pritam, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The first single “Jab Talak” was released on 8 April 2026. The second single titled “Mashooqa” was released on 19 May 2026. The third single titled “Tujhko” was released on 25 May 2026. The fourth single titled “Vallah” was released on 9 June 2026. The fifth song “Bandhu 2.0” was a recreated version of “Tumhi Ho Bandhu” from the first film, and was released on June 17, 2026. The film’s official trailer was released on 2 June 2026. Cocktail 2 was theatrically released on 19 June 2026.
